Quick and dirty edit of what I mean with the Nickelodeon splatters:



For me that was the first big turn off in the video... idk, doesn't it look better with more traditional shapes?

I think that basically pinned down what bugs me about the visual aesthetic of the job.

Making the paint effects look sloppier and less cartoony would definitely make it more appealing to me.
