[Discussion] Which character(s) would you like to inspire future jobs?

As we go on with each expansion, Jobs are taking more inspiration from past FF character, with jobs like GNB and the upcoming Viper and Pictomancer taking heavy inspiration from character gameplay.

I would love to see what characters everyone would like to see as potential inspiration for either whole new jobs or already existing ones. （๑✧∀✧๑）

For example:
I would love to see a magical Puppetmaster based off of Cait Sith from VII, where you command a large puppet/doll with a megaphone and uses other toys in combat as well. ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

Freelancer Bartz, Noctis, and Clive (I know he's a summoner but the idea of going full melee + transforming yourself into one is cool)

chemist - Walter White -- at the very least fill the job quest to the brim with Breaking Bad references

Since we had FF8s Squall with Gunbreaker and FF9s Zidane as Viper coming up, this would be the next logical step up with something from FF10 /copium

There are still quite a few weapons to draw from such as a Barret's Gunarm from FF7 for a ranged job, Hope's Boomerang from FF13 for a healer although I'd really like to see a Chemist type of healer next who can throw potions and mix items like Rikku (FFX/-2)

Except Wakka was never FFX's 'main' character, that was Tidus and Yuna (a... generic swordsman/magic knight and WHM/SMN respectively). Yeah Tidus was a blitzball player, but that didn't continue into battle when he used a sword, and, well, we now have multiple sword using Jobs. So I'm pretty confident FFX is not going to serve as a model for a Job to come.

And it was my understanding SE had already considered and discounted Chemist as a Job twice now (firstly with HW where we got AST, and more recently with EW and SGE), I think we can safely rule out Chemist ever being a thing (after all, FFXI never had it either in it's 20+ years of service).

Just about the only proper character from an FF game that they have left that isn't being represented at all as a Job is Wakka and his Blitzball.


But aside from that, Chemist as a non-magic based healer and a Gunshield using tank that uses ranged attacks rather than melee.
