We have two races that lack full hair and gear support, they need to focus on making them fully compatible and up to date before even conceiving of additional races.

Yoshida literally said how making the new races fucked up their scheduling and how it's hard for them to do, but since he opened pandoras box with his recent staement people are gonna run it into the ground until we're back at square one and the dev situation is messed up. Again.

Also I would like to remind people of how people in the English Speaking community threatend physical harm and a similar situation to kyoto anime if bun bois werent put into XIV.

Or, they can give us a smol bestial race to accomplish 2 things

1. we'll have a non potato based small character option
2. It will complete the set of characters with unique hat challenges.

However the whole hat issue might become moot depending on what exactly is being done with this graphical update as it could include a modeling overhaul that removes the need to have an individual copy of an item for every race/gender combo in the game.

They can view our feedback and then just keep it on the backburner until they finish what they're currently working on. If they can't even do that, then it's their own problem, not ours.
Nobody paying monthly for a game service should feel barred from saying "it would be nice if we got X sometime" just because the devs are slow to finish what they start.

You can blame whoever you want for whatever you want, go for it, but at the end of the day if somebody in charge believes new races will be a profit gain, then it's always on the table. That's just how it works.

New races are technically always profitable. The problem is that they consume so many resources that they are causing other parts of the game to become less profitable as a consequence. Look at it this way. More Races = Less Content. More Content = Less Races. It's a pick your poison situation.
