Technically FF already has the Burmecians

though they are considered to be more "ratlike"

but like many others have said
if they do eventually add more races i would also like them to be more beast like
and personally would prefer if they used something "established" in FF like the Burmecian, Ivalician Moogles, Lopporits, Bang'aa, Lupin, or even Kojin

I feel our 'allied' races could be some wild clans. Like lalafell might get moogle-kin, yukes, etc. Hyur might get burmecian with an extended height slider on the lower end (can be shorter than normal range). Au Ra succubus/demons. Etc. Reuse a lot of animation assets / bones.

Though I feel, if possible, a proper character morph slider system would be great. Morph for figure (like a triangle for muscle, chubby / 'thicc', and skinny- so you could select slender strong, pure slender, thick and strong, etc) would be pretty great. Hunched hroth vs upright. For example a chubby muscular lala with improved facial hair could dang near be a classical dwarf. Perhaps an age / complexion slider to help further.

In a Q&A with Yoshi-P, he did say we may get more races depending on what everyone wants. I would honestly love to have the Burmecians, Lupins, Kojins, or even some orignal beast-like races if they aren't given the same treatment Hrothgars have been given. (Granted that may be fixed at some point if what I heard turns out to be true.)

The next race should be cute and cuddly and rival the lalafells. They have a monopoly on being the cute race right now.

Agreed, an FF14 take on Burmecian would be lovely, and also allow for a second 'cute' race to exist.
