    Unique weapon glam skill/spell

Relics take a lot of grind to achieve. Many people lack time making them skip on the things they find "not important enough" for just a glam (since time is valuable).

I think we should convince people to unlock these weapons by giving them a bonus simply because they have unlocked a relic weapon (shiny version).

Your skill/spell list would have 2 empty slots that are greyed out.
When you unlock a relic fully, 1 grey slot becomes unlocked and you could drag a skill or spell (based on your class) to the empty slot which would then allow you to drag it to your hotbar a second time, ignoring the fact that you already have the skill in your hotbar (so you can use it 2x separately as if they were 2 entirely different skills/spells).

If a person unlocks 1 relic on all classes they would be gifted a 2nd slot so they can choose to copy 2 skills at the same time or simply use 2 copies of 1 skill (so 3 of the same type on the same hotbar).

This should allow people to get rid of their weakness or leave it and create a strength without severely unbalancing the game which would then result in less frustration due to increased success chance and ofcourse more people would make an effort to go for the relics since it would make sense... Especially to end gamers. And seeing as it now felt rewarding to grind for a relic, they may decide to do so again just for the glam now understanding what they have to do to get them.

There are already enough reasons to do relics if you want them. You get a special glam with multiple variations to choose from, you get customized stats, and you get a weapon that ends up best in slot. And if you dont think your "extra uses of your favorite skill" idea would unbalance the game something fierce then i dont think i can take anything else you have to say seriously. Its that poorly thought out of an idea.

Then they don't get the weapon. I don't see the problem here.

Yet another bad idea. If ppl don't got time then surprise surprise, they don't have to do them. It's their freedom. People eventually will become curious on their own time but there's no need to coax them into doing what's basically a glam item anyways.

Also. People know what to do. They have Google that if you do a simple search, will list ALL the steps for the relics. Alternately they can ask friends in game who can straight up tell them.

Please don't bring up us endgamers either. You know none of us or what we may have already done or not done or weren't interested in doing at all.

Even if we do your asinine tweak, you can't get past the sheer poetics and stuff needed for arr and hw relics or even the crafts needed.

You can't get past needing all of eureka for that relic or bozja for the next. It's only the manderville that's laughably simple to get.

Another meaningless topic wasted by you.

I think in response to OP, if I understood correctly I don't think making relics spell/alter skills (stat wise) would be a good idea, it sounds like a balancing nightmare waiting to happen. I doubt pushing players towards relics will be much benefit due to the ephemeral nature of relic weapons being mostly useful for one expansion then falling off except I suppose for ultimate BiS. The endgame mostly feels alot like fashion game, making shiny weapons desirable for those that want them.

I however think the concept of a relic weapon (final stage) being able to cosmetically augment a specific spell (or spells) would be nice, only if this option is toggle-able and people who enjoy the default look can opt out of it... But I feel this might be too much effort for them to make unfortunately, it'd add an interesting quirk to relics that does not affect the game's balance and can be entirely optional.

I'm sure even if you disagree with OP you can at least be civil about it rather than these needless snide and passive aggressive remarks.

It's sounds like you're really just looking to get more rewards for something you'd do regardless.

There is no need to add additional rewards to the relic grind. If players don't feel it's worth their time for just a shiny weapon, they don't have to do it.

Adding on additional rewards that create any sort of power gain and the relic grind stops being viewed as optional content.

If I'm understand what you propose correctly, it most definitely would upset game balance all for the sake of what's essentially an optional glamour item. That's just plain bad game design.
