A few concerns about Pictomancer

You have absolutely no way of knowing what future caster gear will look like and you're just assuming . I accept this us a fear but it's completely irrational

I don't know... I want to be proven wrong on this but at the same time, if they get the standard set of black robes again, I'll just sigh and shake my head in disbelief.

I don't understand why having byako weapons should mean painter shouldn't be a job...

No no I mean the Byakko weapons illustrate a great way to have your painting effects without it being so garishly "in your face" all the time with the neon colors and gloopy effects. They're subtle and beautiful and clearly artistic. I love the idea of the Pictomancer job although I'll be honest and say that it feels like Yoshi P & Co. went "Shite..Krile needs a job.. ummm.. what's the least ferocious thing we can create that is still somehow rooted in FF?"

The neon is a nice change of pace from the generic shiny effects of every other class. Also Trypophobia is a real thing, I'm not sure fear of just neon colors is a thing, and if it were I'd imagine things like Solution 9 would be a bigger problem for people who have it.

Not fear so much as aggravation and unsettledness... like people who hate the word moist. That kind of thing. The neon + the bloorpy sound effects (I have effects of others turned off so I don't have a horse in this race). I can see it getting really old, really quick, like DRK's confetti.

Your argument is backwards. We never get Dancer appropriate gear, so we're never going to get Pictomancer appropriate gear. They're going to be stuck wearing black robes all the time.
