Or artists like myself and a huge percentage of the communityLooks like one of those jobs that'll be extremely popular with the casual folks who'll need to take a break from standing around in Limsa to run a dungeon or alliance raid to feel cute while playing.
I can't see anyone taking it to savage/ultimate progs cause watching those animations over and over will get very old, very quick.

fairly certain that anyone that is even semi-serious about raiding has animations set to limited, if not turned off completelyLooks like one of those jobs that'll be extremely popular with the casual folks who'll need to take a break from standing around in Limsa to run a dungeon or alliance raid to feel cute while playing.

or how to tell me you don't raid without telling me you don't raid
Off topic, but how do you tell where the boundaries of the various friendly AoEs are with that? I had to turn mine back on because I couldn't see where my own Sacred Soil stopped applying in limited view.

'Bubbles' (Sacred Soil, Asylum, Earthly Star, etc.) should still be visible under "Show Limited"
my own bubbles only become invisible under the "Show None" setting
Thanks, I'll try it again and if one's vanishing entirely look at a bug report! (or if I just screwed up selections the last time I tried it.)

Then as someone who raids, you must surely know what fflogs is, right?
Maybe I'm alone in that I leave my own battle effects up while progging as I enjoy seeing my own animations, since it makes me feel like I'm playing the job. While I do set the battle effects for party and others to none.
The numbers would have to be similar to blm's, but I don't see that happening

Go ahead, it's not like I have them hidden. I already know they're trash and I don't care.
Just amusing to me that the one saying I don't raid, is the person I referenced in my initial post. Maybe I'm wrong and they prefer Quicksands and not Limsa.

I don't mind the cell-shaded aesthetic in general, but it's jarring in this context. When I think of something like Okami, Wind Waker, Killer7, etc I enjoyed the stylized approach. But in this instance, it looks very much out of place within the game's own style.
I'll reserve my judgment for when we get the job actions trailer or at full release, but I felt a little disappointed from the trailer and what we've seen so far. I would just prefer to not have every fight turn into cutesy "Good King Moggle Mog's Splatoon Party".
