Content Finder

I know not much information is out there about it yet, but it is still early enough for me to get this out there.

From my understanding the content finder will locate others from your own, and other servers to play with through various content.

If you haven't already, please be sure to give us the option to only be matched with people of the same server. I would like to know that I could potentially meet and play with people using this system on a regular basis outside of the content finder if I chose too, and I would imagine it could help the community positively as well.

Global: Could be matched with same server or fully global member.

Server: Only matched with other in same server.


Also, has a Dev told us yet if we would be able to use this in situations that require a quick replacement of a single party member? Or will that be one of the times we focus on our Ls/friends/party search function.

That's pretty much what the current search function is like. Though I don't mind them adding that in 2.0 at all. Content finder is a cool idea, I just personally don't care to play with people on other servers.

The Open Server idea was a players idea. It stirred up a discussion and I guess got accepted as real midway. But there is no mention of open servers from devs. In fact there's no mention of this so called "content finder" by any of the staff either it would seem. Seriously who would come up with the term "content finder?" Something that would allow people to find content. A search feature.
