[Graphical Update] Viera Nose

The new Viera Female is more consistent with reveals and promotional art as well as previous iterations. It is glorious.

To make a claim like this while wholly ignoring the viera who majority of people think of when you ask them to name any from the race is flabbergasting.

I'm of course talking of Fran, and in both her FFXII and FFXIV appearances, we can see that she had this feature you so much as a self-claimed super viera fan seem to be against.

Left side is of her during the Stormblood Alliance raid related cutscenes just to put a date on it.

She is obviously too who the FFXIV Viera women are based on, so it is normal for people to expect for this feature to be retained in the graphical update, if not at least made optional instead of wholly removing.

I'm puzzled by girls having their being barely visible on the preview, and the nose shape seems different as well. That's doubly weird when the guy does have it proper on his.

Makes me wonder if they're going to make it an optional feature, which... fine by me if they do, but if it's otherwise going to be barely there - I'll be sad personally, because I love their bunny nose. We'll see when they release the benchmark I guess, and if last expansion is anything to go by - they can still make minor adjustments after that based on feedback (they did fix male Viera posture somewhat after benchmark release because some armor was sitting very awkwardly on them).

Please make bunny nose a toggle feature at lease, it's such an important part of Viera aesthetic.

My character has a nose just like in the picture shown. Please leave everything as it is, because most likely I will not play the character if it looks like the one on the right (updated graphics). Thank you

Gave a like to the initial post, adding support. Hopefully it's either an error or something they'll fix from feedback similar to how it seems Au Ra limbal rings were.

Just adding my voice to the choir. If I wanted to play a hyur with ears, I'd fanta and buy them at the saucer. The races are homogenised enough without taking our few distinguishing features away. Please do not remove the texture on it for either males or females, or, if you must, add a toggle, but do not take it away entirely.

Another first-timer in the forums here to second what most everyone else is saying. Having the distinct Viera bun noses a-la FF12's Fran is what really makes part of their charm point and the distinct facial features is a strong part of what makes the playable races seem unique and different from each other. I'd hate to lose that part of what makes them so cool.
