adding to this thread. bunny noses are one of the most distinctive features of the viera, without them they're just hyur with bunny ears. please don't get rid of viera noses!!! D:

First time posting on forum (hope I'm doing it correctly).

Really hoping they will keep the unique nose on female Viera (sooty nose + lighter accent around the nostrils). I've seen some saying that they like the update, so perhaps make it into a toggle so there are options, if not please listen to the majority since most of us like how the noses look now!

If you stare at the image hard enough you can still see some sort of dark gradient, but it's barely visible and its not the same without the lighter accent too. It should be obvious no matter how light or dark their skin tone is.

The nose is really cute and iconic, I would hate to see it being removed.

I think the graphical update so far looks good, but that is something I noticed. As someone who is a male viera, I wasn't too excited about the changes made to the nose - it looks a tad darker than what was originally there.

There is an option in the character customization to give the character a darker nose like that but I don't use it, and I wonder if in the second picture they enabled that option and if not, what would that option look like with the update?

I suppose once it's out I'll have to see what it looks like under different lighting.

The darker nose option that face has is already in use in the first image, i believe. They seem to have made it more stark, which I honestly like overall given that it barely existed before and looked more like he didn't wash his face properly rather than him actually having darker nose pigmentation. It's why I never used it when playing with the character creator before.

my main character is a viera, and i'm really sad about this.

i really hope this was a bug that went unnoticed, or is a product of the lighting/shading, but part of me believes it's not. and i know a lot of people are saying "it's probably an option in character creator!" but wouldn't they specify that if it were the case? i really hope this isn't a situation of removing it from the fem models to better differentiate their qualities from the masc models, especially because fem models had it first and it's integral to my character's design now. it just makes their faces look closer to human, which takes away from the fantasy bunny race charm in my opinion. they look less unique without it. i could just play a hyur with the gold saucer bunny ears if i wanted a more human look.

additionally, if it is an option in character creator and it doesn't get put on our updated characters by default, it's going to feel real bad having to use the free fanta just to put the lighter nose shade back on.

definitely will consider a fanta to masc models and try to salvage my character's appearance if the nose tint is permanently removed from the fem models. sque please see this feedback and make changes!!!

Just adding my voice to the choir. If I wanted to play a hyur with ears, I'd fanta and buy them at the saucer. The races are homogenised enough without taking our few distinguishing features away. Please do not remove the texture on it for either males or females, or, if you must, add a toggle, but do not take it away entirely.

Adding my voice to the chorus of despair over bunny noses. Please don’t take the bunny nose! It was the only thing about the graphics update I was disappointed to see!
