I hope they remember to future proof it this time, so anyone joining the party late isn't totally screwed out of required group content that nobody wants to do anymore to proceed.

Lack of future proofing was Yoshi P's main reason for EW relics, so I would hope that would be on their minds.

I wouldn't count on it though. Really expecting them to give us an extension to the Bozja storyline, give us a couple new zones and throw in the variant actions before calling it a day.

I love the part where Eureka and Bozja were universally hated, the content that only masochists would play. Right up until there wasn't a version in Endwalker. Then they became the gold standard of mid-core content and Endwalker was trash without it. Guess it's true what they say. You don't know what you have until it's gone. Also be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. I look forward to the monkey paw finger curling, and people hate the new zone just as much as Eureka and Bozja were. I give it 3 weeks after its release. Probably less, but I've been told I'm an optimist.

While true, it is a much more massive slog for the likes of Bozja now then compared to back when it came out. The steps that basically require you to enter DR to grind stuff, take forever now due to...no one wanting to play DR. It is still join PF > Everyone gets ready > Sit in queue for 10 minutes > Finally get into DR to do one 30 minute run...out of 5. So that is almost an hour of queue waiting and about 2 and a half hours of slogging through DR. And that's just for Timeworn Artifacts! If you want Raw Emotions without dealing with Dalridia pops, either another 8 DR runs or 15 synced stormblood dungeons.

Eureka has its own problems that make it just...suck at times. (Looking directly at you Pagos.) but Bozja's issues are a lot more glaring and come from a lack of future proofing.

I loved Bozja when I started playing in Shb. I enjoy Eureka as well to a certain degree. I'm glad we're getting new field operations, because without it the game felt very empty this expansion.

Well, if relic is Tied to it, l hope they won't make the mistake of delebrum. Shadowvringer's idea is fine. First one is very grindy, but if l want more, then no more memory grind.
