    can we get dex to go on slaying accessories in 7.0?

    make right-side gearing for melee mains much much easier. i've mostly played reaper with a bit of dragoon and samurai and monk in there too. this is made convenient by the fact that they all share a right side. while samurai, monk, and dragoon/reaper right sides are not identical you have maybe 1 piece in common beyond them all sharing both the tome ring+raid ring.

    if i want to consider raiding on viper, i'll have to invest in scouting accessories which is also shared by ninja and phys ranged which i have no interest in playing. it also just makes more sense for all of one role to share an accessory type

    If anything I would rather see NIN and VPR get their own set of Scouting accessories, which would imply an "ideal" party composition of one striker/slayer, one scout, one ranger, and one caster. Making all six melee jobs share gear leads to striker/slayers and scouts who are not the same person fighting over gear and will lead to even more conflict in the future when one or two more scouts get introduced.

    While we're at it, why don't we remove the role restriction on accessories again?

    It made sense to role-restrict them in Stormblood because people were using HW DPS accessories, resulting in tanks having less vitality.

    But now, if tanks used slaying accessories, they would have the same Vitality and the same Strength and the same mitigation due to the stat changes in 5.0. The only thing they would lose is Tenacity (which they avoid anyway).

    small indie company, please understand. like your post seems to infer then it would make tank/healer accessories worthless because the melee and caster accessories will have better stats on them. it is still common to see healers rocking either: tome+(unaugmented) tome ring, or tome+crafted or even tome+(augmented) crafted accessories due to the stat budgeting on them being very bad

    Healer would still opt for healer acc because their main stat is not INT nowadays---It's MND & there are no MND from caster's accessories.

    Then again, the only reason why I'd wish for accessories to be turn back to "All Classes" because that oughta free up those slots that I use up in Glamour Dresser for lv61+ accessories because they all share the same model between all role & locked lol.

    This leads to people being able to win a Greed roll on an off-role accessory that is off-role but still usable, and then forever being able to Need the actual accessory for their role just to sell or break it. Restricting accessories to roles prevents people from repeatedly Needing on accessories they are already using.

    well accessories don't drop directly outside of dungeons so i don't think thats much of an issue lol

    That already happens ever since the savage loot was changed to redeemable coffers that give you an accessory for the job you use it on. This change was also retroactive.
