Changing controller-mode HUD

I am playing on PS5. While in controller mode, going to “HUD Layout” only allows me to change the mouse mode HUD. How do I change the one for controller mode?

Are you referring to the switch between controller and mouse mode? That’s all I see. Even while already in controller mode, going to HUD layout only lets me change the mouse mode HUD.

If there’s an option that says “change HUD customization type” or something similar, could you tell me exactly where that is?

What specifically are you trying to change? Everything on the HUD should be the same, aside from your abilities being slotted to the cross hotbar rather than the M&K hotbars.

The HUD displays everything. Both "hotbars" can be edited regardless which mode you're in. The numbered "hotbars" are the elements used by kb+m players, but "cross hotbar" is the element used for controllers should be available. (In other menues, it's called the X-bar". They don't truly replace each other. Just gotta keep scrolling through to find "Cross hotbar" to move that guy around. If you're using W-Xbar options and want to split that from the main cross bar, that's under the character or system settings to split first, then you should be able to edit it in the HUD editor.
