I'm nervous about this one. I'm pretty sure I'm at the end of my time with XIV but I desperately want to be wrong. I need them to show me something to keep me invested. Either the new job needs to wow me or the new narrative needs to grab me

Unless that 'something' is more of the same with a slightly different flavour, it's time to move on. It's okay.

Bozja was the best part about Shadowbringers, so having an exploratory zone like that already being confirmed gives me hope for Dawntrail.

It's a step in the right direction though ideally it needs to be something that comes sooner rather than later. Depending on when it is first added, we could be looking at a two year wait.

Endwalker had more than enough 'fluff content' for the venue goers and they make their own content rather shamelessly as anyone can see by glancing at what they upload to social media, so rather than cater to their ilk it's time that the development team remembered that there is a sizable chunk of people who treat this game as an actual game which means that they want actual content with staying power to entertain them with and tackle with friends.

I wonder if the lifestyle content will relate to the exploratory content. It would make game-ifying it easier, given that was a major criticism I had* (and saw others have- due to the mostly 'excel' like gameplay).

It also looks, from the image and description, a bit like the DoL beast tribe content (in Endwalker)- which is probably my favorite beast tribe... This, also.. lol, would definitely more easily allow the multiplayer element being built in and might be a hopeful sign that they build in smooth solo mechanisms when the content will eventually become difficult to do due to player participation.

* To note I still enjoy my Island, just feel that charts and tables as the primary gameplay mechanic was a bit unfortunate.
