I want to know if they finally fixed this since I found that this raid can be dangerous for people who are susceptible to things like flashing lights etc.
Thanks for the info,
Cheers,

Probably not? Haven't done it since I resubbed a day ago.
But also this is a video game. One of the top things that exist that will most likely have flashing lights, and how there's even warnings about games being a high up cause for that.
Please show support for chocobo boots to be added -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/323512-Suggestion-for-an-item-to-be-added-to-gold-saucer-Chocobo-Boots

Form the 5.5 patch notes.
I'm not sure how good the fixes are though.
They improved it in a patch in response.
However, I'm told by people with these issues that it is still a problem for them.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.

It's better than it was at launch, but it still screws with my glare sensitivity after a while.
If you have sensitivity to flashing lights and play video games I have no sympathy for you. Take responsibility for your own life and stop expecting the world to cater to your needs. You aren't that important. Disclaimer: This post is directed at the human race in general.
To be fair, everyone needs to enjoy themselves and make themselves happy and games are a good way to achieve that. People overcome disabilities in various ways if it's at all possible. I mean, would you go up to the paralympics athletes and say this sort of thing?
This part is kinda fair. Every time adaptions are made for disabilities, someone is still going to come and say that it doesn't work for their unique disability. To a degree, mitigations have to be done on their side not just the service or product providers' and that team effort is going to make things better than just one side trying to make it better alone.Take responsibility for your own life and stop expecting the world to cater to your needs.
Example in this case: computer brightness or gamma settings, special glasses, or carefully avoiding problematic content.
In other cases: artificial items, machines or software to make up for a disability, special exercises or medications.

The only mechanic I can't look at is charging Omega Jammer in O11. I just look away whilst people are doing that.
I abandon it when I get it as it gives me a headache and nausea every single time despite adjusting gamma. Luckily, it doesn’t pop often and it’s the one raid I never unlock on alts.
Dumbest comment ever. In the entire game, it is the only content that is a problem to me. I never had that happen in any other game and I’ve played for decades. The white background design choice along with the lights was a bad choice and it was easily avoidable. Critics on this choice are fair.If you have sensitivity to flashing lights and play video games I have no sympathy for you.
