Thread: will we need new options for creation characters in patch 7.0? discuss creation chars

since watching the news of patch downtrail and how the graphic will be change

i'm thinking we might will need new details options, to create better characters
like in example : eyes / eyelashes / eyebrows / limit faces / or fix problems like put 2 or 3 paints / muscles / tattoos on body

or option that allow to us to keep playing our old versions in the new patch at least,
which also can help weak devices to work well with game with the heavy updates

to me, i really like the current style of my characters
and i'm worry of how their new look would be in the new version,
cuz it took me while to make every character xP
but i also i don't mind the changes and i would like to have new options for renewal

- what about you guys ? and how do you think about your characters ?
- do you think your characters need to be change ? if so tell why , if no tell why
- do you think we will need new options ? if yes, tell which options do you wish it exists in game?
- what's thing you have noticed in NPC and wished if it was as option in creation for character ?
- do you think there are problems in creations for characters ? like in example : some characters have no eyebrows or need to make good muscles

should the changes be large, I think they should include a free fantasia... just in case

overall though, I'm in a wait and see mode. hard to say if anything needs to change on my character until things are introduced.

Think a lot of people made this statement already beforehand. The graphics changes so far look like they're going to be more than just upgrades in some spots, with Au Ra's Limbal Rings being the biggest example we've seen so far and really in general this game is just lacking so much when it comes to character customization. It needs more.

Unfortunately, I feel like SE might feel like they're too successful at the moment to offer such a courtesy.

Honestly, I don't expect that much from SE, the ""Graphical"" update feels like what a Nvidia Filters actually do (vibrant colors etc).

Removing Au Ra limbal rings it's the biggest red flag

Lose what? PSO2 blew this game out of the water with its character creator 12 years ago, but that hasn't stopped XIV from outlasting it.
Just like FFXI, I doubt the character creator will change or update in any significant way for the duration of this game's service.
