If history is any guide, weekly loot won’t be unlocked on the alliance raid until 6.58. And 5.58 was released about eight weeks after 5.55.

Per the history of previous expansions, the only weapons the new jobs will get for pre-DT cap levels are [Lv80 poetics weapons and Lv90 tomestone weapons].

There are a few more things as well, though the tome weapons are the main ones that matter.

We can expect them to get weapons from:

• Cryptlurker
• Lunar Envoy
• Credendum
• Anabaseios
• Deep Dungeons
• Endwalker levelling dungeons
• level 80-88 crafted weapons

Viper and the unnamed class will just have to go without.

"Do without" what? If you mean relic weapons, then yes. But the new classes will be retroactively able to equip all existing gear for their role.

Just to add, they should also get level 90 gear from Tataru acting as AF gear (just like Reaper and Sage got 'AF' gear from Grenoldt).

Yes. Since Dancer was speculated and assumed to be a healer (before it's official reveal) they have since told us what roles the new jobs will be filling. IIRC, it was from the first fan fest for DT that we were told there would be 2 new DPS jobs, one melee and one caster. Viper has been announced, so the other is going to be a caster.

That's mildly disappointing as I was hoping to get a second staple regen healer since not even the devs seem to know what AST is as they keep reworking it.
