Question about pass events.

Do past events like the Garo Promotional Event & Yo-kai Watch Event ever come back or are they one-time events? Just wondering is all ^.^

I remember that Yokai was rerun at least once, so not impossible that it'll show up again. No idea about Garo though, though I'm sure someone around here knows something about it

Events that involve other companies' intellectual properties (IPs) depend on the other companies licensing them for rerun. No way to know until they get announced.

Garo is currently re-running, and Yokai has returned twice. YoshiP being friends with some of the Yokai people does help with that.

After Garo leaves this time around, it is likely not to return. And if it does, it will be after a few years like it did this time around...and only if there is a very large number of requests for it.

Yo-Kai I can see returning before Dawntrail, but I also wouldn't be overly surprised if it didn't come back.

Having to justify the costs for acquiring the permissions to use other company IPs can be a daunting task depending on which higher up in both your company and the IPs company you have to talk to.

Generally, if the event's rewards haven't gone up on the Mog Station, the event can come back. Anything not owned by SE is up to licensing agreements, though. As for when, it depends on when the devs decide they need some filler to keep people busy.

umm garo is here. the first time garo ran like for a few years and then people complained about how it was ending because there wasn't enough time. Thing you have to realized collabs like Garo and Yokai is depending a two part agreement.

I think Yo-Kai will return, because it usually does every several years (yes I'm that old of a player).

After Garo leaves this time around, it is likely not to return.

The last time they stopped GARO, many people frantically started doing PvP right before it ended and some missed the deadline and wanted to be able to do it. They had so much demand to bring it back that they negotiated it again in time for the revamped PvP mode in Endwalker.

I can see yo-kai coming back in dawn so viper, Reaper, sage, and the new caster get a weapon and minion.
