Edit to add: Have you ever thought some of us kept our subs for the purpose of being in the one place where our concerns might have some small chance of being addressed?

How well has that worked out for you? Have your concerns been addressed to your satisfaction or have there been announcements about upcoming changes that will?

It's really easy to get yourself to believe sticking around will make a difference. I've been there, done that.

It doesn't when it comes to a game with hundreds of thousands of players. Your voice is but a drop of water in the ocean, not the tidal force that change the movement of the water. Until there is enough money flowing out, things won't change substantially.

1st the obligatory you're not my mom... 2nd how does a person know that a thread will be one they don't like unless they enter it? There also might be a rare discussion happening inside a thread that they don't like. Don't tell someone to use the block function as many here have attested to only looking at thread titles and not who made them or that someone went a necroed a thread that hasn't been posted in for over a year or is about something that hasn't been a thing in years. It's how people try to argue with people who have actually stopped playing the game. Then no one should be trying to aim for an echo chamber.

It isn't making you look smart. The class isn't laughing with you. You're bumping threads to be seen by more people that you hate. Thus feeding the op when if your right and they just wanted attention; starving them of it is so much better a tactic to make them go away.

If you don't like the responses you're getting, maybe don't step out into the public forum? The second anyone posts on social media, you open the door to hearing criticism. You don't get to throw out an opinion, and somehow be protected from others being thrown back at you. That's not how it works. I've read your threads. They aren't anything that hasn't been posted here before. Mostly as bait.

I don't know if the OP is a troll, nor do I care really, but the OP does raise a good point.

There are some people who wouldn't classify as positive or negative, the ones who enter a thread and say nothing but stuff like "who cares", "literally who?" or "is this a Titanmen thread?". Those people are indeed non-constructive and aren't contributing to a thread at all. In the same vein, there are also 2 other types of non-constructive people, the ones that go "this game sucks, shut up" to any positive thread and the ones that go "this game is great, shut up" to any negative thread. There's also the people who go into threads for the sole purpose of attacking OP or anyone else in the thread.

But it's definitely hard to get everyone to behave courteously on the internet, so perhaps it's better to just ignore people that you don't like.

OP, your choices and behavior shape the direction of the thread. If you respond to posts that derail or rile you up, you're telling everyone that's what you're interested in. You may say you dont want the forum drama but your interactions then prove otherwise. Take your own advice here, dont engage with people you have already labeled trolls in your head. Unfortunately for you, you don't get to dictate who is allowed to post in a thread.

I believe in what I say. If I'm uncertain, I'll express doubt. If I don't, I'll indicate it's sarcasm.

I'm not trying to defend the honor of the developers. I'm trying to encourage other players to accept the realities of the situation and make choices based on those realities that will lead to their greater gaming satisfaction and hopefully happiness.

The game is not going to change because you're unhappy but still paying money for it when the majority of players still appear to be satisfied or better. The game still has more subscribed players now than it had before the start of the largest WoW exodus in the summer of 2021. There's nothing going on that would encourage SE to make any significant changes to their formula.

You have choices:
Adapt to what the game currently is and get what enjoyment you can find from it.
Continue to post complaints and be miserable as nothing really changes despite your complaints and continued subscription.
Quit the game and move onto other games that will give you the gaming experience you're seeking.

Is that really so difficult to swallow?

Your favorite game is in no danger of dying in the foreseeable future. You can relax on that point.
