Quitting ffxiv for good

Having just had a Puppet's Bunker the other day where we had an AFK tank for the start and then no fill after he was kicked, Alliance specific mechanics are overrated. I would rather not have them than get hit with tankbusters and get 1 shot as a DPS over and over again for 40 minutes, because let's face it the players on most NA servers are in too much of a hurry to make sure that every alliance has a tank before they instantly pull.
If you want DPS checks and untelegraphed mechanics in casual content, then you are right to leave this game, those are not coming back. You're better off quitting and finding a game that has what you want instead of beating your head against the wall of this game or making attention seeking threads to whine about it.
Though the fact you made such an attention seeking thread, and continue to post on here despite saying over and over again you're quitting and not going to respond again tells me you're going to stay subbed, keep playing, and we are going to see you come back and complain in the 7.x patches.

Now luckily in virtual space devs can do anything, but that doesn’t mean they should make fights flashy light show with no risk because someone may disconnect. Just give me a cutscene at that point instead of letting me play.

You get out of here with that design philosophy. Yes, you either fill or vote abandon cause you tank left you. What’s next? Should the msq beat itself? Oh wait… it already does. You can probably let the trusts kill everything for you while you just emote at the bosses.

Is there an alliance raid that DPS or healers can't reliably tank? I can't think of one.

I'm debating on it as well. Every FC I join is rotten. My server is dead. All my friends quit. I'm just tired of trying of trying to look on the bright side as things get progressively worse and worse. I'm tired of all of it.

Just my 2 cents here. I just want to know why people need to announce they're "quitting" on the forum?? Whats the point of it? lol if i was to quit, id just quit altogether , unsub for good and go on about my days finding other games rather than going on a forum to post about it XD i find it funny people saying they're gonna quit or "quitting the game" , but later they come back for Dawntrail expansion LOL smh

Good times! The world bosses was fun af. My fave was The Shatterer dragon world boss. Sadly i maxed out all crafts thanks to my cousin who handed me the guide and never got to finish my first twilight weapon xD i passed my account to my friend before i left the game lol

I totally feel you OP, its something I've actually be going back and forth on myself. I hope you find a new game that'll stick with you for years. Hopefully I'll find one soon too.
