Beastmaster, Lyon, Pagaga, Matsuno

Hey peepz,

wouldn't it be amazing if the Beastmaster storyline had something to do with these awesome characters from Bozja and If Matsuno got to write it?

I know that making Bozja mandatory for unlocking Beastmaster isn't in the cards, but they felt like such awesome setup! I think to at least make the storyline tonally consistent with Bozja would be a nice touch <3.

My ideal setup for it would be something like we find Lyon going incognito but recognize him, and he offers to teach us BST to keep us quiet. Then Pagaga freaks out at him for it since they're technically on the run from both sides of the war now, but he ends up making it part of her training to take us on as an apprentice because he thinks it's funny.

That probably only works if you want to lock Beastmaster behind completion of Bozja.

Make it an extra dialog for people who have completed Bozja. People who havent done Bozja can still meet him and become BST without knowing who he is.

The problem with that is that it still tells one story that's clearly set after another potentially before that other one if the player does do Bozja after doing Beastmaster which is likely since it requires much more effort.

They don't like doing that, even though it happens all the time.

My suspicion is that it won't be Lyons or Pagaga, but at most, one of less relevant Bozja BSM's, or even a new NPC, that will simply have special optional quest dialogue for those that progressed enough into Bozja/completed it. I don't see them unbubbling that specific time bubble, with how that storyline ended.

Not entirely. They could make it extra dialogue, but they also seem to dislike doing things like that, especially for side quests.

There's just no way they're going to restrict access to BST behind Bozja though. It's a new job, even if it's limited like BLU people are still going to want to play it.

Bozja's storyline isn't even finished though, so it might be a bit weird to use any of those characters.

If we won't get Lyon or Pagaga or any imperial beastmasters I think they could give some connection to the Vochstein which is Ala Mhigo beastmasters lore

There is also Little Ala Mhigo for ARR zones but they might want to stick in one of the 3 main cities like Blue Mage
