it took them until 6.5 (so basically when Endwalker was already over) to give criterion savage any kind of reward that isn't a crummy title, so I'm absolutely not surprised at all. there's just no real reason to do it unless you're a completionist or if you're someone who enjoyed criterion and wanted more of it.

Given that we are years into the decline and there has been no indication that they're reversing course, they're probably satisfied. I've seen this happen before with WoW and GW2, where the game declines for years and years and customers become increasingly unsatisfied and leave and the devs ignore what the customers are saying and don't do anything.

Well.. we dont exactly know the true extent of changes happening to criterion or its rewards yet. They're development process takes them years and years before any major changes to their "system" can be implemented, otherwise its these little bandaids fixes. They dont ignore the feedback, it just takes them for-fucking-ever to put in the change that often by that time players have gotten use to how it was or moved on and forgotten it existed.

ugh people wanted Criterion dungeons to be Midcore - Savage. Not Free - savage - savage but more tedious. The rewards sucked big time and top of that there is no roulette with rewards for it either. They should have a huge store of centralized rewards for all criterion dungeons .

The roulette should take you into the midcore version, around the difficulty of CLL in Bozja when it first came out, and the savage version should reward a huge stack of that currency and reward that glow for either the tome weapons or the savage weapon of that patch. That is the only good thing they did with Alo Alo.

Arguably that "glow" they added to the tome weapons should go to the Savage weapons and add a third materia slot so it becomes a less shiny but pseudo Ult weapon, said item could also be used to augment the savage armor to +1 so it becomes on par with the savage weapon ilvl wise for example Savage weapon = ilvl 665 Then Savage +1 chest = ilvl 665 and normal savage 660. I'm sure ppl would be all over that tbh and since the crowds who do that content overlap noone would mind.

I'm still progging present box II in criterion. Perhaps others are aswell? Idk. But I don't think any1 will endure savage for that trash wep. I think savage is honestly way to hard. No deaths, limited reuses. Even ultimate isn't this bad
