Everyone would benefit from a FFXIV anime series

We all know that FFXIV's story is very good but it takes a long time to get good. ARR and STB are a huge wall for a lot people thanks to their slow build-up and their uninteresting fetch quests, making some players want to skip them, which is generally not advised. It's nearly impossible to solve this problem inside the game in its current state, however one thing they could do is release a short anime series summarizing all the important plot points of ARR and beyond. People that find themselves stuck in the MSQ will have an alternative and can waste only a few hours instead of dozens. Not only that, the anime would be a good advertisement. Non-FFXIV players that watch the anime may be interested in playing the game. Square already did something like this with FFXV, so I don't think it's impossible for them to do this.

I wouldn't watch it. The wol in my eyes is only my character. That's who I'm attached to I cba with another shield hero looking type. The writing wouldn't be done by cbu3 so it wouldn't have that authentic koji humour. And honestly it would be nothing we hadn't seen before. People are finding more and more ways around playing this game that it's becoming reflected in the game and makes me wonder why ppl play it to not play it

Is it just me aswell or is it thar as you get older anime becomes more cringe and less appealing. I can still watch great anime like yugioh and dbz but I feel modern day anime is extremely cringe and I can't even tell 90% of them appart from each other. The all have the same badly designed bland protagonist. Lazy artstyle. Plot narrative and characters who fall so far into tropes that you basically can sort them on there personality in my anime list. Young ppl with no ability to write will enjoy this tripe but older ppl will search for substance and find more in og beyblade than current time anime. I think rn in the state of animes climate I would not want this game represented by it

As someone who has been watching anime in its various forms for the last 30 years ... it's just you. Well, it's probably that your introduction to Japanese anime and Chinese donghua has been a bit, um, tilted? Perhaps mostly kid-oriented anime?

I do not consider Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters to be the epitome of Japanese anime over the last 20-odd years.

Is there a lot of junk out there? Yes. You need to expand your source material, and figure out if you really enjoy Shónen anime geared to 9-18 year old boys. I expect you'd be more into Seinen anime these days. For your own sake, lay off the kodomo-muke anime types (Pokemon, Doraemon, Digimon, etc).

Nah I'm good thanks. I've never even heard if those wires animes you listed and find when I try to watch em I can't enjoy them. Shounen anime is the only anime I can get into and I don't wanna bleed your ears with why I think shounen anime is the definitive best kind of anime. You can lead me to crime/adult series but you can't make me like em

Yugioh and dragonball z are some of the best mangas and animes and in general works of art and writing to ever be produced. Literal master pieces. If ppl think they're for children they're committing peabrainism

I think simply put you're unable to comprehend why it's as good as it is. Some ppl also say berserk was cringe too. Perhaps you only watched the 4kids dub and didn't explore the manga whatsoever ever. Then kind of. I could understand. But the creativity and ingenuity of the manga as a whole is something even pokemon couldn't replicate. Anything past og duel monsters shouldn't be glanced sideways at and no fan will deny that. But the main series was powerful storytelling with mostly) likeable characters and harsh life lessons like letting ppl go. The budget and standard for animation had allsays been sky high. The main and rival main character are legends in anime history. You'll never find another character written like seto kaiba as ridiculously ott. Or a main character as stupidly awesome as the pharaoh. But go on tell me a really good justification for why it's cringe. I can wait. Or is this simply another desperate ploy for a strangers attention
