    Win 10 - Launcher HTTPS System Error -2146697211 (VPN Resolves issue)

    Date & Time: 21Dec2023, 2100 CST
    Frequency: Constant
    World name: Launcher Client

    Steps:
    1. Attempt to Launch FFXIV Client (normal and Run as Admin)
    2. Launcher Doesn't load, gives FFXIV Launcher System Error -2146697211 HTTPS System Error
    3. Close Client
    4. Run VPN with US based location
    5. Open Launcher
    6. Game Authenticates as normal

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    This may seem silly, but did you try turning off and then back on your router/modem?

    I had a similar problem a long time ago and it just needed a restart because the router's OS crashes up and breaks sometimes.
