Thread: 2.0 Leveling

I'm reviving because of this:
"RPG Site: As far as gameplay goes, how will grinding vs. quests work for leveling? Will players find more reward from taking on more quests as opposed to just outright level grinding?

Well we all know how well Starwars did with quest based everything, yep, it's going free to play now.

We can also see how DCUO did with their instances(free to play now), grinding out those in 2.0 should be fun. I mean, all dungeons are going to be instanced.

Sounds to me like another thing to be tremendously disappointed about in 2.0

The one thing I hate about all WoWstyle MMO's is that you have to quest to level... It's retarded, no one actually reads the quests they just spam through them as fast as you can to level what's the point? I've never understood the concept of solo leveling in MMORPGS... I've always loved the group exp party concept that worked SO WELL for FFXI. This just an awful idea.

What S/E is trying to do is dumb down content to appeal to bad players, but what they don't realize is that they are appealing to the wrong audience... The bad player market doesn't hold subscriptions for more than a month or two before they loose interest, not to mention that this game no matter how much you dumb it down will still be far too challenging to hold the average WoW players interest. I could really rant about this all day, I'm just going to stop myself here...

So before the hate train arrives I'll just add my 2 gil.

If the game makes leveling as easy as it was in 1.0, and beyond with only quest grinding being the viable way to level I'll be for one interested to see if they can pull it off and two if they can keep it interesting beyond your first job to 50.

Personally if I had a choice I'd pick party focused play any day of the week with a twinge of fringe power for those who want to solo all-beit slower.

Making a post for the sole purpose of bumping it is against the rules now if you didn't make the other thread I would agree but you made the other thread so the only reason for your post here is to bump it and get more attention.

Why do you think you get flamed so bad? You've even asked a few times why we flame you so bad. Have you really not figured it out yet? Do you not know? At this point we see your name and roll our eyes saying here we go again. You use hallow arguments and false info to try and prove your point's. You freak out at the slightest sign that there will be something new or something is changing. You revive dead threads while there is a current on going thread about said topic. You revive dead threads when there isn't any more to say on said topic. You derail other threads by asking why we don't flame the OP but flame you. I'm sure others can add to this but I'll stop here. From our point of view your just trying to get any attention you can get and you don't care if its negative. I don't think anyone really hates you we just don't want to see 100 threads complaining about the same thing all the time.

Just so you know your not special with the flaming thing go look around for some of the post that the op of final fight too hard has done.
