May or may not be a bug, but these things may help you regardless.

1. Close the game, go to Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn, open the CHAR folder for your character (the correct one will have a "log" folder and if you open it and order files by "date modified", the most recent one will be around the time you last logged in). Move that CHAR folder to a safe location so it acts as a backup that you can restore later. This will cause the game to create new files for hotbars, HUD Layout, macros and keybinds. Log back into the game and see if it still crashes.

(You can easily copy and paste the CHAR folder back and overwrite the new one that was created to restore old settings, if it didn't help. If it does help, you can gradually copy back individual settings files such as hotbars, then macros, one at a time, restart the game between each one and see if it starts crashing and then you know which file, if any, was corrupt.)

2. At the character selection screen, right click your character and click Visit Another World Server. This will put you in Ul'dah on a random server, taking you away from whichever other environment was potentially crashing you.
