For it to have any noticeable impact. Come on now, you saw the same images I did. Graphics hit “good enough” somewhere around morrowind and there hasn’t really been that much improvement since.
It doesn’t even matter much when combat is visual vomit to the point reduced vfx is about as far as you can go without being blinded. As with several recent decisions- shb support changes, island sanctuary, ew relic, summoner rework, ew hitboxes, 2 min standardisation, adventure plates - it isn’t all that apparent who it is for or why they would want it.

I have seen the good and the bad side of the FF14 mod community. There are lot of mods that have the ripped from the game. Tweaked a bit then thrown online like its some kind of improvement feel to them.

Keep in mind also that there'll be a benchmark sometime before Dawntrail actually releases (it was 4 months prior in EW's case, but with the graphics update it might take longer). But they did end up fixing the male Viera pose, so perhaps they'll be as receptive to criticism this time around also?

Yeah i saw the same images you did, and i thought they looked really good. And its also not done yet and will get even better. Everything doesnt need to look hyper realistic to look good.
And morrowind? The hell you on about. That shit is pixelated and there is tons of games that is a billion times better in graphics xD
