What would it take to make you unsub from xiv

If I lost my house for some stupid reason, I'd unsub, because that's just painful to me. Probably a materialistic thing, but that's just a major part of my game experience.
I've been subbed since billing began with ARR, I don't see a reason to unsub because I causally play the game for the past 10 years and still not 'done' with it.

I unsubbed for a little while. Then came back to try out the new alliance raid.
I don't know how you're gauging who unsubs and who doesn't (are you asking people who are no longer around or something?), but people who unsub from this game can't access the forums and obviously can't access the game, so if the only folks you're asking are the ones around here then you'll never meet anyone who's truly unsubbed. If you go and play other mmos though, you'll meet plenty of people who'll tell you they unsubbed because post-EW has been mid at best.

I've figured how much gil I'd lose if I let my medium house auto-demo, so I'm saving the difference up so when my house is gone, i'll be able to collect the exact amount or more that I spent on my plot
for when or if I come back- I'm just waiting at this point for the auto demo so I can collect then unsub
I just don't enjoy ff like I used to- I don't think DT will give me the changes I'd like to see

I want mythic style dungeons that give reasonable rewards like raid ready gear & upgrades- I want content other than extreme trials and 8-man raids as a means to gear up as well.
I don't always have time to get 8 people together.
And we all know when the new dungeons/trials/raids etc get released it will be the new stuff for a small bit then back to CT & WoD in roulettes

I'm half and half when it comes to being satisfied with the game, theirs certainly a lot I like about ff14, but I do also have issues that have become more and more into the games life cycle, I think right now I use the game socially sometimes, if not i do sometimes do content, but I don't need to play everyday. I think that the game could be way better with a lot of things, but it's still enjoyable to me to a degree.

I think one reason why I stay is more the Sub price isn't really anything I worry about, I'm in a position where I can afford it and I do actually want to log in sometimes to do dailies, or I want to talk to people in game, If I was struggling I wouldn't pay for the game that's for sure.

I think I'd stop playing if, The sub prices went up where i didn't think the trade off was worth it or I just get more tired of the game, then I may unsub, but right now it's "good enough" (because really my issue with EW is that it's more only "Good enough" rather then standing out as a great expansion, I know the game can be better) or find another mmo that I personally find more fun and appealing.

Wait, so you're paying real money play the game until you save up enough fake money, so you can stop paying real money to play the game anymore?

For me to unsub. Next expansion DRK would have to be the lowest dps tank. No self sustain added and it to be the same as it is now in dungeons and even worse in raids. NIN would have to be the worst melee dps.

The relic would have to be a copy and past of EW with the tomes grind. Friends leaving the game. Bad raids and alliance raid.

Lastly no change in healers dps kit. I am subbed up until the beginning of DT if it releases in June. For me to unsub there has to be a better MMO and the jobs have to take another bad turn similar to how EW did.

I think I'd only unsub if some really awful things happened in the story and I just had no drive to continue with it. But honestly even then, I might still stick around if my friends were still playing.

Lack of content relevant to my interests. I'm entirely out of things to do right now. My sub ran up half a month ago and I just didn't renew it. Not that there isn't content that I haven't done, but I've exhausted just about everything I care to do at this point.

I'll probably resub in January for part two of the story... however much that actually is. I can't imagine it'll be much at all, but that's about it. After that, I think I'll just be waiting for (or dreading) the media tour stuff.
