Lodestone: Your current settings are preventing the use of cookies

For the last few days I have been getting this error any time I try to visit the lodestone ONLY ON FIREFOX browser.
I can access it on every other browser just fine (loaded on Opera, Chrome, and Edge).
I have tried clearing cookies cache
    I have disabled my antivirus
I have added the lodestone website to exceptions
    I have disabled tracking
    I have restarted my computer
I have hit the "accept cookies" button when it shows up
I'm not sure what else to try at this point.

    Greetings Fogoazul,

I'm very sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. It would appear that you've already tried numerous troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue on the Firefox browser.

For us to better assist you, please respond with the following information:
    - Has this been a long on-going issue or has this only recently occurred:
    - Any other error codes or messages you receive:
    - Other programs such as an anti-virus or firewall:

While we await your response, as this only appear to be occurring on the FireFox browser, we'd like to suggest you try accessing the site using an incognito/private window. This will ensure that any add-ons/extensions are turned off and this may help clarify if there is anything specific on that browser in particular that could possibly be causing this issue. We'd also like to suggest turning off all add-ons/extensions on the said browser and try to access the site once more using a normal window browser and not an incognito/private one.

We do hope this information has been helpful.

This issue has been present for about 2 weeks, but I couldn't say if it was related to any sort of update, since I access the site so infrequently.
I did just now try loading the lodestone with a private browser, and it appears to load just fine, bringing into question what is different between the two. The only extension I have is add block plus, which is running on both the private window and on the regular window. I tried turning off add block plus and hitting the button that says "main site" upon which the page refreshes, attempts to go to the main site, then redirects back to the error message. The option to accept or decline cookies came up again, and I hit accept, but the same thing occurs.

I use bitdefender antivirus, but as stated, didn't matter if that was running or not. I don't have a firewall or a vpn.

If it's working in an inPrivate Window then it sounds like something is cached and possibly corrupted.

As you've already cleared out cookies cache, it may be worth clearing out Cached Web Content/Offline Web Content as well (you can clear this in the same way - it's just a different checkbox on the "Clear Data" option).

    Heya.

Do the following steps to clear the FF cache:

    Close Firefox.

Open an Explorer window. Type in the bar %localappdata%. Navigate to Mozilla -> Firefox -> Profiles. Then there should be a folder with a random name. Open it. Then there should be folders with the names cache2, jumpListCache, startupCache and thumbnails. Delete them.

And then start Firefox and try again.

    Cheers

This one did the trick. I also took the liberty of deleting my bookmark and creating a new one, just in case.

Thank you guys so much for the help!
