    They changed that for monk , but now the monk's dash doesn't engage you in combat, maybe add 1 potency to it to fix that lol.
    I am not a fan to use mobility skills for damage as well, you essentially need to learn the fight to know when to keep one charge of it for movement.

    I'm pretty sure that they specifically referred to how cumbersome the card system can be, and I'd be inclined to agree for real. Its accessibility is terrible, and the amount of actions the class requires to just achieve one little result (pull card > redraw because bad > deselect target > select target > play card > deselect target > select enemy again) is ludicrous. It's become the signature of that job and one of the main reason I hate playing it. It feels very bad and it's like the whole system and UI is fighting against me to prevent me from actually playing the class.

    But what I expect SE to do considering their track record, is to just remove all mechanical intricacy instead, which to be frank, I couldn't even care about because ShB already did that to that job anyway (without addressing any of the playability issues to begin with, the irony).

    You can imagine my face when I saw what we had from the ShB media tour. All shinies, no mechanical intricacies, just a bunch of buttons that don't talk to each other, but nobody cared or didn't seem to see it.

    but this is the mechanics of the class.The ast buff isn't a bland thing like most buffs in this game.

    It's a buff that works on proc and allows you to retry the proc to adjust your dps or adjust the party's rdps based on who has the highest damage output in that mini-window. (The problem is the crit is too important in this game and I underline that it is a wicked decision by the designers and therefore optimizing the buffs in those mini windows is not that relevant outside of 2 minutes.)
    They will rework it and 100% they will have a button in store for us that buffs raw melee and ranged damage by 5% every 30 seconds with 2 charges. Wheew.

    Yes but how do you rework something like that. There are 3 buttons: 1 draws, 1 redraw and 1 assign.
    That's 3 buttons for its core. It doesn't seem like that many buttons to me. It doesn't seem very convulted to me.
    He's the only healer who at least doesn't have to spam 2 buttons but has a little more to think about.
    How do you rework it differently other than merging everything into 1 button without proc which is good for melees and rangers?
