I do think Frontlines is a game mode that does need commanders but it's a tough job when people don't really listen then blame you for back call outs when they didn't listen in the first place. You can make all the right calls, but a bad team is just a bad team. Half the time people lose because they aren't aware that the job, they are playing is effectively underwhelming in these game modes. Even if you have a DRK commander, it's not useful if your party is mostly physical range jobs. Commanders definitely should limit their Sfx use but it probably also helps it they said they were planning to commander before discovering it mid match. The only macro DRKs ever need is "I'm getting ready to Salted Earth, follow my lead!" It's unnecessary for you to keep pinging how many seconds on cooldown it still has. It's like they forget our skills are on cooldowns too.
