    Blacklist does work and I've felt compelled to use it for the individual mentioned by the OP and a couple of other shot-callers. Which is a shame, and maybe some of the chattier commanders might find the following helpful.

    I imagine we all have different likes and dislikes, so I'd be interested to know how others feel about this, but from my own perspective.

    Likes

    A moving marker to keep the zergball together. One can argue the usefulness of this reflects an issue with the mode, but as things stand it's a massive help in ensuring a numerical advantage in battles.

    Reminding the less-observant team members that new nodes are spawning, and calling the next target. Sometimes "map" suffices in chat.

    Similarly pointing out which team is leading and ideally should be focused.

    Pinch warnings invariably come 3 seconds after some damn premade has wiped out half the alliance, but sometimes help.

    Limited use of sound effects are generally helpful, particularly danger bongos when the danger can be called with sufficient time to react to it.

    Dislikes

    One of the Aether regs has a multi-line macro with 5 or 6 accompanying sound effects, the purpose of which is to tell the team "well done." Encouragement is nice. Flooding the chatbox and making a racket in an already chaotic environment is obnoxious.

    Similarly multi-line LB countdowns. One common 4-line/sound macro gives a "get ready" with a 3..2..1.. countdown. This is not only annoying, but almost completely useless to the vast majority of players. Team members either have the skill to track what's happening, or far more commonly they have absolutely no idea where the shot-caller is, nor the ability to react to the LB burst.

    Multiple uses of the same command/advice with sound effect for a situation which hasn't changed. People are either paying attention to chat or they aren't. One sound effect is sufficient to get their attention. More than this and, like the OP implies, you're simply irritating people and the whole exercise becomes completely counter-productive, particularly once you're blocked.
