This feels more like a "go play the games you want rather than trying to turn this game into something it isn't" situation.

Nothing about this game is designed for open PvP in any regard. Why even go to the trouble of suggesting something that simply doesn't fit?

You'd have about as much luck turning this into an NPC dating sim or an RTS.

"Let's add some shmup mechanics to Sim City." "Let's add cooking sim elements to Apex."

At some point you have to recognize that not everything is going to fit into every game, and trying to shove it in is going to do more to ruin than enhance anything.
