Auri Horns

I've been wondering if horns of Au Ra can heal themselves if they crack or chip. I've seen a few Au Ra in game with what seemed to be bandaged horns and I am not sure if it's related to horn injuries or something else.

Now if they're damaged, whether it be a fall or in battle (if an axe takes half of it off) then the horns will slowly regrow until they reach that maximum point again.

There isn’t much depth information regarding Au Ra’s physiology sorts & vice versa for every other race.

We can speculate they may heal over time like fractured bones, then again Eorzea is a world full of ambiguity in which leaves very little room for logic etc.,

Their horns does provide some sort of hearing/spatial awareness from the Wikis & Ffxiv lore videos that I’ve come across.
