CC ranked queue withdrawals

I just want to report suspicious activity with CC. When I queue for a ranked match it will say the wait is longer than 30 minutes. (Not necessarily true.) Then it will pop after 6 minutes, and then a player will leave ("A party member has withdrawn from the duty. Finding new member"). This has happened more than once. Sadly, this occurs on Primal which is probably telling for anyone that knows anything about Primal ranked history and the desperate measures people will take. Does this ever happen to anyone? It literally just happened to me for, maybe the 5th time overall.

To be totally honest, this sounds like someone waited in queue for an extended duration and it didn't pop. It is common that the first duty after a longer pause doesnt get accepted always, because some people went afk. Without more information and how systematic it is, and if there are other matches happening with potentially preformed groups, you probably can't predict too much about the nature of such an event.

I havent been getting queues except for very, very, narrow times. I'm with OP. Something is up.

certain DC's are dead, primal is somewhat active but its getting to be late in the season and its the holidays

This phenomena has been going on for quite a while, but it's picked up again a bit this week- although my experience is only with casual CC. I think it's fair to estimate that at least 95% of all other regular dungeons, raids, trials and roulettes succeed without a withdrawal- yet CC alone seems to only succeed about 80% of the time. Whatever the true figure is, there's a blatant and suspicious gap and I can only assume this is people somehow cheating the system so they get matched to be on their friends' team. I can only imagine they have 3rd party program telling them who is on what team when it pops or something. In any case there is something not right here and I always withdraw from what I then see as a 'contaminated' queue before it pops again so as to lessen the chance of being cheated against. PvP is already unfair enough by fault of it's construct before having to suffer all the other factors.

so casual que sync isnt an issue as its not against Tos and its the only way friends can play together, secondly are you honestly suggesting theres a 3rd party tool of that capability and its being used for casual cc.......i mean im open minded but this doesnt seem probable and sounds like something made up, and lastly the OP was discussing ranked so its def a false equivalency to discuss casual on this thread

Nah don't think that's it.

I'm on Aether, it's still one of the most poppin' DCs in the game.

Casual queues are almost instant, I've used them to level 5-6 characters. (Yeah you've read that right, I've used casual CC to level 5-6 characters from 30 to 90)

Of those characters, I've gotten 5 post gold (Yeah, I had individual characters I've leveled multiple times. You can find my posts about hitting post gold 3-4 times in a single season)

i dont think anything suspicious is going on there are times where i have stepped away because i thought id have enough time to put some clothes in the dryer or washer and when i come back im penalized (rightfully so) or i took an unexpected nap, just the que system isnt perfect in terms of estimation or anything also theres a few things the devs dont tell people in regards to the matchmaking like the class/role you choose affects your que, even though they said roles dont matter example being if theres an abundance of a certain class or role the system will have to figure out how to balance the placement its not the best model they have but majority of the time the team makeup is pretty fair in terms of class/role, theres a few other things like winrate, timing of your que, duration of other matches ect, but theyre mostly conjecture, as for the comment about primal's "history" i havent experienced any issues of desperate measures in the time that ive been playing, and lastly the only other thing i can think of is someone withdrawing out of spite in the attempt to not be matched with whoever they dont want to be matched with.
