The absolute state of cheating these days I tell you, people even cheating for boiling eggs !
Back in my day we had to keep track of the time by counting it manually in our heads

He really thought cooking eggs had a ToS.Okay, well you feeling sick over me doing something that has no impact on you whatsoever (i.e. making a part of my UI slightly larger) means nothing to me or anyone else in this thread. So there's no point in bringing it up.
I have a question for you though -- you know when you boil eggs, people have different preferences for it (soft-boiled, hard-boiled, etc.) that requires cooking for a specific amount of time? There's a thing you can buy that you plop down in the pot with them that changes colour based on the temp, which tells you how cooked the egg is. Is that cheating against chefs and other homecooks, or is it okay? You'll call this comparison stupid, but I'd like to know your answer regardless.
I had a feeling you'd ignore it entirely. Can't even bother a simple "sure I'll humour you". You can't even deal with hypotheticals, only the enemies you've made up in your mind. I feel sorry for you, really. Yeah yeah you don't want or need my pity, but it doesn't stop me from feeling it. It must be difficult encountering enemies everywhere you go, and if you don't find any, you invent some. There's always a bad guy to fight, never any introspection.
It does seem you have a hang-up on being parsed, going to give you some really good advice: Just don't care about what others are doing just care about yourself and be like "I cleared PxS without addons, YEAH!" You can't tell what other people are doing and nor can you control them either. This crusade is just destroying your ability to enjoy this game over something that's 100% out of your control. If I didn't make any requests like that it would be easy to continue playing and progressing because it's not hard to make groups for savage content in PF. What is hard is avoiding cheaters. It's not about avoiding being parsed, it's about avoiding unfair play and accomplishing the savage raids without having third party tool assistance. I don't enjoy the content if someone is cheating on my team. It directly impacts my experience in a negative way. You wouldn't understand since you actively group up with cheaters in your static. Stop trying to understand things that are above your head.
That's fine, and you're welcome to have that opinion. I'm not allowed to post any proof because it breaks TOS.
But you will never have a World First race be publicly acknowledged by the developers again. The game will look and feel less and less like FFXIV when all of your friends start asking you where your plugins are. You will realize that less and less people play the game because it's been trivialized to obsolescence and people would rather ERP instead. You can stick around in FFXIV, but you will be disappointed. Most likely, you will move away from FFXIV and find a different game. You will say this is a good thing and proves that FFXIV is perfectly fine, but you will struggle to find your same friends in those new games. Bad decisions with FFXIV will hurt people the same way that WoW's fall did. Many people are still upset about what happened to their previous game, so why should we let that happen here? It didn't have to be this way.

It's not correct. I'm perfectly aware of what is available, publicly and otherwise. I am also aware of what is specifically 'integrated with the launcher'. And with a little sniffing around, you too can read the rules for which plugins get approval for said integration, and what functionality is excluded.
I'm even about 95% sure I know exactly which tool is being alluded to and what it actually does versus how it's being portrayed. If so, it is probably being mistaken for its substantially more illegal variants, which still aren't nearly as sophisticated as a proper rotation bot. Nobody making stuff at the level of full combat automation is giving it out for free, unless something new has hit the market in the last couple months and managed to slip entirely under my radar. Stranger things have happened, but given the historical accuracy of posts around here, I'm not holding my breath for a surprise.
Fine speech, Nostradamus, but how do you think slapping EAC on it is going to solve any of this? You've got a handful of social and design problems there. You can't fix those with engineering - better people have tried and failed. But you will never have a World First race be publicly acknowledged by the developers again. Have you tried to convince your friends to play something else? It seems obviously they're the only reason you're still here, why not play other games with them? That's fine, and you're welcome to have that opinion. I'm not allowed to post any proof because it breaks TOS.

ah I just read up a bit more up the thread and it's about autorotation then yeah you are correct....woops my bad. It's not correct. I'm perfectly aware of what is available, publicly and otherwise.
