    Healer Damage Rotation Ideas!

    I've seen a lot of other posts talking about wanting more to do when your not healing so why not think of some idea's for damage rotations! I want to try giving each healer a unique way of dealing damage while also keeping it simple so that the focus is still on healing. I'd love to hear other people's ideas and this is mainly for fun so come up with whatever you'd like!

    Here's what I thought of:
    White Mage:
    White mages have a new bar called the Elemental Gauge, this fills up with your damage spells and can be used to cast a high damage spell.
    - Stone/Glare is your single target spell and increases the elemental gauge.
    - Aero/Dia deals damage, gives you a damage buff that you need to upkeep, and increases the elemental gauge. This is to make the white mage focus on straight damage without a DoT.
    - Fluid Aura is a high damage AoE spell that has has damage fall off and uses half the elemental gauge to cast.
    - Holy and Afflatus Misery are the same but now also increase the elemental gauge.

    Scholar:
    Scholars are focused on a DoT that they can make stronger and deal a high damage finisher with energy drain.
    - Broil is your single target spell.
    - Bio is a short DoT spell that can become stronger with a new spell Libra.
    - Libra is a OGCD that places a debuff on the target that makes your Bio reapply and gain a stack, up to a max of 3, when it finishes it's duration. This debuff also falls off when a stack is gained so you have to reapply it.
    - Energy Drain is now a GCD that can be used to deal damage based on how many Bio stacks the target has. This also restores MP and removes Bio.
    - Art of War now also applies the Libra debuff and Energy Siphon is your AoE equivalent to Energy Drain.

    Astrologian:
    Astrologians have a luck based system that let's their damage spells have a chance to proc a higher damage spell.
    - Malefic is your single target spell that has a 50% chance to allow the spell Aspected Malefic to be cast.
    - Aspected Malefic is high damage instant AoE spell that has has damage fall off.
    - Combust deals damage and gives you a small haste buff that you need to upkeep. This also has a 50% chance to proc Aspected Malefic.
    - Earthly Star is the same except if it is activated with Giant Dominace it has a 100% chance of procing Aspected Malefic.
    - Gravity now also has a 50% chance to proc Aspected Malefic.

    Sage:
    I have not played much Sage so I would only change a few things. Sages can use their addersting spells to reduce the charge time of their higher damage eukrasian spells.
    - Dosis is your single target spell.
    - Dykrasia is your AoE spell.
    - Eukrasian Dosis deals high damage and has 2 charges.
    - Eukrasian Dykrasia deals high AoE damage and has 2 charges.
    - Toxicon is damage neutral to Dosis with fall off and reduces your Eukrasian spell charge time.
    - As a result, Phlegma is removed.

    Not sure on what job it should be, but perhaps SCH since it borrows a bit from the FFXI SCH.

    Spell: Helix
    Places a single stack of Helix(DoT) on the target.
    Duration: 30 seconds, recast: 1 minute
    Recasting the spell on a target overwrites current Helix.

    Skill: Empower
    Grants 1 stack of Helix to a target currently under the effect of the spell, while cutting the remaining duration in half.

    Skill: Extend
    Removes Bio from the target and adds remaining duration to Helix' duration.

    Basic flow would be to apply Helix, then Bio, use Empower for the second stack, then Extend to remove Bio and extend the duration of Helix.
    Helix would have a cap on stacks(perhaps 5) and is something you build up over the fight and then maintain.
    Cooldown for Empower and Extend would be short'ish, but not spamable(perhaps 10-15 seconds).

    With different names, I'd see it fitting well on AST, on account of Extend being time-magic related (and Empower/Extend used to be the name of old Royal Road effects, along with Expand for AOE)

    Energy Drain II. it's just plain old Energy Drain but with higher potency on the main target and half potency in a radius around the target.

    If I were to add another offensive oGCD to SCH that synergizes with Energy Drain and Chain Stratagem, I guess that would be Bane. Or heck give us back Miasma II for an AoE DoT.
