You clearly have ZERO clue what you are talking about, life surge has slight intricacies due to it's 40sec cooldown and the way the GCD loops, I mean you don't even have a clue why mirage dive is separate from HJ and as people already pointed out your idea is so bad even the devs backtracked on it in record time, so I doubt you've ever done a proper 6min+ life surge loop. Not to mention the consequences and interactions of skillspeed on life surge and kill/phase speed in crit/ultimates, incredibly reductive calling it an ability that increases a meaningless number and does nothing for the jobs actual gameplay.
Anyways DRG has no bloat and every oGCD has its place in the rotation.

I mean.... that's a bit much. The thread is just a for funsies say what you want for the job thread. There's really no need to make things personal lol. The chap also shouldn't need to justify why they want what they want with how "skilled" they are at the game. Lotsa people play this game and lotsa people want what they want for different reasons. You've posted several times that you believe DRG is not bloated and many people still believe otherwise, and thats okay! Just agree to disagree, there's no need to call people out or question their abilities or try to impose your implied superiority, that's not the objective here xD chill brother, we're all fans here.

Also, taking your arguments into consideration I still personally believe skills like lance charge and life surge are lowest on the totem pole of cool skills and thats why I still believe and hence why I put it on my wishlist for them to get axed first. Im not ignoring their merits or how they fall in the current DRG kit, just that I'm of the opinion that theyd be the least consquential to what I believe makes DRG, DRG. If they were removed for something...I don't know exactly what! But IF something were to be removed to make way for more DRG coolness. I would be least sad for those two xD

For the record there are other skills that I wouldnt mind making the cut either! Battle litany? Has always been a ehh skill to me doesnt give me the DRG flavour but it's a raid buff and my brain is too smol to figure out a cool alternative to that. Best I could manage is to reflavour the animation and name but as a piece of kit in the DRG rotation ive no idea which is why it didnt make the chopping block on my list.

Also, also, life surge really isnt that complicated a skill, you just throw it on heavens thrust whenever its available, or you throw it on the #5 GCD (fang or wheeling) when under buffs in the 2min. Its really brainded so im not seeing the intricacies? But maybe im just not that good at drg lol please enlighten me (hopefully in a non judgy overly agressive way)

Combo consolidation is about 7th on the list of ways to reduce action bloat

They need to get rid of the pointless bloat of oGCD’s you press once per minute or 2 that have no interaction with the kit they are just a flashy bloat button in the burst window

More buttons to press and more positionals for melee DPS
