aka Endwalker Summoner
This is highly personal preference, though. For example I prefer DRK and WAR to GNB and PAL due to the latter having more abilities to squeeze into my "comfortable keys." BRD is great because I can fit almost everything into four rows of 1-6 / Shift 1-6 / `-F6 / Ctrl 1-6 and Q, E, ,Shft-Q, Shft E.
All of the jobs you mentioned have between 30-33 abilities. If your personal preference is to have keybinds that make it more difficult for you to play certain jobs, that's on you, not the job. This is highly personal preference, though. Go back a page or two and reread so as not to waste our time. We just went through how a raw number of job keybinds is less important than the number of frequently pressed buttons for a given job.
Players can compensate for poorly designed jobs with duplicative abilities, but if they choose not to that's on the developer, not the players.
Still yearning for walking casts on BRD.
Casual RDM enjoyer here. Practically the only DPS job i feel any attachment to.
After stormblood the job has always felt a little bloated to me. It would feel better to me if Verstone, Verfire, and Jolt were combined into the same button. You can sort of achieve this now with a macro, but square enix hates macros so it's a teeny bit janky.
If they don't do it, whatever. I'll keep using the macro. Just thought i'd throw that out there.
I just want a gatling gun for MCH.

I'm more confused why the people who complain about "ridiculous button bloat" (on jobs that aren't all that bloated) always, always want to remove buttons that might not be the most bombastic abilities but keep their rotations consistently interesting, rather than the superfluous but flashy oGCD you just press on cooldown once a minute or two.

Haha, you're literally on a thread about people making personal wishlists for DPS xD just make a wishlist and move on rofl or don't! While I do personally admire the passion of players to actually get worked up and get into debates about hypothetical imaginary wishes of random players. Wishlists are spos to just be for fun! No? Or am I super out of touch here. I apologise if I am xDYour suggestions are just "remove a bunch of abilities and add a proc because I like procs." Your mirage dive suggestion was already implemented a few patches ago and then removed because it was awful. The fact that you don't understand why these are bad ideas for people who love DRG now is exactly my point.
I despise Dancer, I think it's the worst job in the game. I'd rather have my skin peeled off by a rusty cheese grater than play that job. But you know what you don't see me doing? Rolling up to Dancer mains saying "I think they should remove all the procs and make it a static looping rotation like DRG, because that's what I find fun." Regardless of my personal feelings on the job's design there are tons of people who love it just the way it is, so I just write it off as not for me and carry on living my life.
Take a breath :P people are bound to have ideas you don't like. I'd imagine a ton of people wont like ideas you have either! Thats okay! Take solace in the fact that we're all just random nobodies in the grand scheme of ff14s development. I don't think anyone throwing up a wishlist here is part of the SE dev team :P just some harmless fun.
I personally find the wackier suggestions very fun like haha that totally wouldnt work. But sometimes while the idea itself is flawed the inspiration behind it can be telling. Sometimes people feel there is an issue or room for improvement but not necessarily have the solution for it and so they just spitball random ideas![]()
Huh? I'm not "worked up" just because my posts aren't "lmao XD I think ur drg suggestions :P aren't good haha XD and u dont know rofl lol xD wat ur talking about lmao XD XD @w@;;;;;;"Haha, you're literally on a thread about people making personal wishlists for DPS xD just make a wishlist and move on rofl or don't!
