Guard has a 30 second cooldown and can only be active for a maximum of 5 seconds. That means for 25 seconds you are unprotected

Guess what's on a 30 seconds cooldown too? Also your excuses about "should I have done this or that" have a simple solution: mark the enemy DRK, and if you actually care, make warning macros, and since you play BRD, silence the DRK. The DRK is just there to facilitate things for the ASTs, with a cooldown that they'd all be willing to follow, 6-7 ASTs can atomize an enemy GC with just macrocosmos (not the tanks and melees at first but with some BH it's doable) and they don't need a DRK for that.
God forbid some people are actually trying to coordinate things and stop wasting time with the XP farmer hordes. Sure it's not ideal to be against the premades but at some point they'll be on your team, or you can just try and lead to make a difference.

Also you playing BRD gives me an answer as to why you'd think SAM LB isn't an issue in FL...

You live to antagonize people and I truly feel sorry for you. Literally ever sentence you type is an insult. I guess you had to really get serious when you couldn't blame me for being from the west anymore without proving my point. Please grow up and find a better hobby than just talking down to people on the forums, then maybe people will actually want to engage with you more.

I do have so say though that your last line is my favourite part. You tell me to just do this or just do that, but when I have a solution to a problem (i.e. specific jobs' LBs), you say "oh of course, no wonder" as if somehow that's also incorrect. You offer suggestions that are basically nothing, then criticize the things I do that don't require suggestions. I'm sorry that you're so insecure that you need to project your shortcomings onto others. I know where I stand though, and it's unfortunate that you think what you're doing will somehow elevate you to be better than you are. I hope you seek help for it in the future, because you're not paying the rest of us enough to deal with it.

Your solution to Chiten is to stop attacking the SAM, and yes I have to agree with that but 1 it's not always doable because of aoes and 2, 5 secs of "can't touch me or else!" every 30 secs isn't acceptable.

Your solution to DRK/AST/DRG: let's prevent people from playing what they feel they need to play to maximize their chances of winning.

I have absolutely no shortcomings regarding FL, I'm not advocating for the nerfing of this thread's perceived issue...
