What a strange analogy.

It makes far more sense to recognize you're waiting at a bus stop. The queue is waiting for the bus to take you to the servers. Logins are processed in batches, the "buses" taking whole groups of players into the game. When there are many players in queue, the first bus may fill up, and you'll have to wait your turn for the next one.

Nothing suggested here is going to change the bus schedule, and the buses aren't currently filling to capacity, so why add a player inconvenience for no benefit?
