Dragoons Max Status?

If you know what they meant then why does it matter, also if you have enough ACC and str but need more piety, veterans DOES NOT > scarlet. Also I agree with the felt bracers BUT depending on how you reach your goal the atk from it can > felt bracers. Please do not come in here again and try to lecture a fellow dragoon when you obviously don't know what you are saying. Especially when it sounds like you don't even play drg. average joes arent going to be capping str with just basic gear, PIE is the LEAST important stat on a drg, and unless youre a gillionaire/have an amazing static, there is no way in hell OP is going to be capping acc either thus veterans is superior. so rather than attacking my character and trying to tell me im wrong, go actually try to learn the class.

Cool story

I use the following:
Darklight Helm +15 STR
Darklight Corselet +20 STR
Scarlet Sash +3 PTY
Militia Subligar +20 PTY
Darklight Caligae +15 PTY
Fingerless Raptorskin Gloves of Slaying 3x meld +43 STR
Explorer's Earrings
Electrum Gorget +1
Tourmaline Bracelets +1 +4 PTY
Tourmaline Ring +1 +18 PTY
Rubellite Ring +1 +18 STR

This gives me 351 STR, 305 PTY (312 after Jerked Beef)

This is just one way to hit cap, no matter how you do it you are going to need rare gear or a few 3x meld crafted.

Lets use this info again. She/he is at her caps with jerked beef, but around 369ish acc (idk for sure because I'm a highlander so she may have a diff ACC.) solo. That's not even including the fact they may be using Garuda, which would be 394ish ACC maybe give or take a couple. Now again, this is solo, not even full PT buff. Now please explain to me my misleading info where a str/acc belt and a pie/acc gloves are going to be better then what they have. She would be getting more benefit with the atk from the gloves she is using then adding on more pie/acc.

1.) Nic picking a small detail like PIE and PTY shows that you would rather troll than answer the question
2.) What exactly about the information he is giving is misleading. If you cant reply to me with qoutes he said supported by facts to counter them than i dont suggest replying at all lest you look like an idiot. If your buddy loldrg said he has 341 Acc naked, that's 341 + 53 = 394 Acc without any Acc boost accessories. Go trolling somewhere, loldrg. You seriously know nothing about gears and spam nonesense here. If he seriously wants Acc, Stuffed Cabbage give both 34 Acc and 7 PIE.

hart guisarme/gc spear
cobalt haubergeon/tortoiseshell scale mail +2x pie
cobalt mitt/felt bracers 2x str
veteran's field belt
AFpants/GC hose (if your from limsa these are decent)
af shoes
af helmet
2x str or 1xstr 1x acc ring
electrum gorget
explorers or GC earring (again, limsa's is great)

capping stats isnt as important as capping acc, because it harms your damage a lot more than missing some str would.

Quit trying to change your story, its saddening. Now that you know you are wrong in that situation its all about the average guy now? Also, any "average" guy the has the means and time to meld gear also has access to get darklight, it is puggable dungeons. I'm just saying, so the AVERAGE JOE can get that gear.
