You mean like how several dungeons got complete redesign, bosses changed, and the ARR 8 person MSQ got changed? No amount of ilevel sync is going to bring them back to how they were "new to us".
Sure it could. All I'm talking about in terms of feeling like it did on release is for the boss to go through its entire script like it did when the content first dropped. I elaborated on this in my post that you quoted, but you conveniently left that part out and then refused to elaborate on your own points because you're clearly not really interested in discussing this.

Yes, I would really like this. But SE has just let it be this way all these years for some reason. They are content for Thordan to be a joke, old trials to be braindead to heal because raid-wides only do 2% damage and dungeons to either skip the best mechanics or render them irrelevant.
The only dungeons and trials that remain good most of the time are leveling ones, which are level synced and thus item level synced almost to what they were designed for.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

I'll agree, but only if all leveling is permanently removed and all gearing becomes glam-only.
Never played 1. Played GW 2 a bit when it finally hit Steam.
Depending on how far back GW1 was I was most likely playing FFXI which I was paying 3 subs+ a number of additional character slots and frequently multiboxing along with either Front Mission Online or Phantasy Star Universe.
Agreed. This is a game. The point of a game is to be fun. There is nothing fun about pressing one button and seeing a supposedly mighty being melt in 45 seconds.
