Question is how high spec you're looking at.

ATM with these Black Friday Sales I'm seeing prebuilt desktops with 13th gen i7, 32GB of ram, 1TB SSD, and a GTX 4060ti down as far as $1400 USD. That should handle just about anything out now without issue.

However prices increase noticeably if you try to jump to an i9, a GTX 4080, or an NVME SSD.

Keep in mind I personally stopped paying attention to AMD CPU's and GPU's long ago because of personal experiences with both where they seem prone to overheating ranging from a CPU burning out the socket on the MB on a desktop, to a GPU on a laptop causing the MB to fully delaminate itself causing the GPU and everything around it to peel right off the board.

THe one I saw a bit ago was basically what you listed but it was a 4070. My worry with it was it was a company I know nothing about IBuyPower and its liquid cooled. I am old enough to remember the hell of the early liquid cooled systems leaking in the early days of them so I am VERY leary of liquid cooling particularly given I keep machines for 5+ years

My other issue is I really don't know what is current and what isnt. I remember there was some mess with the NVIDEA cards a year or 2 again where the new ones were not any better than the old ones and were self destructing to boot but I just dont remember which they were to avoid them

The one I mentioned actually came from Asus.
IBuyPower is basically a PC builder. Essentially they do the legwork buying the individual parts from manufacturers then put it together in one of their branded cases. Liquid cooling is a lot better than it was early on. The only real standout Nvidia story that comes to mind in the past couple years was an issue shortly after the launch of either the GTX4080 or GTX4090 where it was apparently melting the power cable.

Out of the 4 games you mentioned No Man's Sky is probably the heaviest hitter for resource usage once you start turning settings up.

I found a recent model of the machine I have can anyone tell me if these specs work my main games are FFXIV, NMS, Subsistence and FS22

Acer - Predator Orion 5000 Gaming Desktop- Intel Core i7-13700F-32GB Memory- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti - 2TB Gen 4 SSD - Black

Its a bit out of my range but if I cut back on other things for awhile I can pull it off.

This looks quite solid and should probably be around the base you are looking for.
For future proofing you want at least 32GB RAM(check) and SSD(check). 4070 is good but 4060 might do if budget issues, as for the core i7 is great but if you need budget options the high end i5 could probably work too.

I haven't kept up as much with the parts as I did in past, but as long as you get over some general points in the generational jump you should be fine for the next 5~ years.
