The fastest way is using Grand Company Supply and Provisioning Missions. Go to your Grand Company HQ, talk to to Grand Company Personnel and take the Supply and Provisioning missions. They ask for specific items for each crafting and gathering job. Craft and gather those items and deliver them. They reset daily.

You can also crafting and gathering leves for XP.

You can always do it the old fashion way which is to just grind them. For mining and botanist, this is free other than repair cost of your tools. just go to mining and botanist nodes about 5 levels higher than your level and just gather.

If you want to make money, my general advice is:
    1) level all crafters and gatherers at the same time relatively equally
    2) gather/craft everything yourself, or purchase from vendors/MB only when cheap to save time
    3) every time you make or gather something, make an extra copy or gather a little bit extra. Start selling those items, because other people need them, too.

To add to my list above: you do not need to have max-level or even high-level crafters to make lots of money selling crafted/gathered items. Just keep that in mind if your goal is saving up gil.

I would like to build on what Yuella says

GC deliveries are by far the most cost-efficient way, as its usually a high return of exp for a single or a few items, hence why its limited to once a day per Crafter/Gatherer

Ocean fishing will get you to 90 very quickly if you catch the voyages, I would suggest getting started on it since it has few gear requirements, and having at least one high-level gatherer will help you unlock the scrip vendors for cordials and better exp scrolls

When you finish Heavensward you will have 2 more big sources of Exp open up for crafters an gatherers:

If you would like to power level some things, the Firmament is a great option.

One more important tip is using the DoL/DoH exp scrolls that you can get with company seals and scrips. As you reach level 60 with some of them, custom deliveries will also greatly boost your weekly exp/scrips with little effort

Grand Company missions are indeed a quick way of leveling crafters and gatherers. Later on the relevant beast tribes and custom deliveries are also good.

But the very simplest way is to simply craft one of each item. (You get some nice bonus XP the first time you craft an item). And of course gather yourself what is needed for this crafting.
You can then use, sell, or desynth the crafted items.
Only a small handful of ingredients that you will need to buy this way, and you will craft all the gear you need along the way. And what you don't need yourself you can sell for a nice profit.
