Portraits are a nightmare across multiple devices

I play on both PS5 and PC for multiple reasons. I appreciate the options that the PC version offers over the console versions, and my gaming laptop has a 120hz display that's a joy to play with. Unfortunately, due to chronic pain issues, i can't use a gaming PC or god forbid a laptop all the time, and find myself needing to relax and as a result use a controller instead.

I like my portraits a lot, and it's really frustrating that i need to basically optimize my entire game setup to be easily usable on both consoles, just so my gear sets and my portraits can remain fully functional- which i have to also manually download after switching.

The need to manually download character data makes sense when you approach the issue with the understanding that console and PC require different setups to be as efficient or as comfortable on the eyes- unfortunately the fact that gear sets registrations have to remain EXACTLY the same down to affixed materia and item properties like attached glamours (even with a glamour plate linked that will replace the attached glamours) essentially demands that you consistently download and upload the exact same data between devices so the game remains functional, giving you almost no room to have unique, optimized setups for both devices.

That's to say nothing of the 24 hour limit on uploads. I want to, or perhaps even HAVE TO switch devices within the same day? Out of luck- I'll have to just play for the next 6 hours without the portraits i put that much work into.
Something really needs to be done about this because it's a genuine inhibiting factor for the whole experience for someone playing the game with accessibility issues.
