Callback campaign: rewards not recived/zero friends recalled?

Hey, so i used the current callback campaign to bring my friend out from retirement

he signed up, payed for a subscription and they got a confirmation that he will the registration bonus items.
but neither of us have received any items from the event.

i checked my mogstation account it says i have recalled zero friends? thats not right? did i not recall my friend
we are both confused, we are sure we did everything right?
