Cloud Data Center Stress Test Feedback Thread (November 2023)

I play from Puerto Rico and it feels like a whole new game. Ping is around 70-80ms, down from my usual 120-130 to Aether. I mostly play CC and having abilities go off instantly is a game changer. So far I havent had any issues so far. Also load times between zones seem to be really fast now.

I'm in Florida and playing in CloudTest01 and I'm having a great experience.

I'm in the Midwestern part of the US, and so far, the Cloud DC is pretty smooth so far. Pretty much response times on interacting NPCs, items, interactable destinations has been quicker than it has been for the other NA DC, whether one place is empty or full of people. The Party and Solo instances have been pretty smooth and stable too. I feel like the latency from where I am may be a little lower than I'm used to.

The queue is really slow. If there are ways to improve that, especially in anticipation of expansion launches, that would be one thing.

I'm in Southern California, the increase in latency has been barely noticeable for me (generally when using stuns/interrupts). Overall, the experience has been smooth so far.

Character creation set my character homeworld to Cloudtest02. I went to Cloudtest01 to spawn Kaiser Behemoth about 20 minutes ago and now I'm unable to return to 02 due to congestion.
"This World is experiencing congestion. Characters from other Worlds cannot visit at this time." even though my character is from 02.

I gave "Return to Home World" a try and got "World visit is not available at this time" as the response.

Testing to see if one of the Tales of Adventure books will successfully work when not on my homeworld. It seems to have updated my character with the new job information successfully.

I'm a veteran player from Behemoth (Primal) and latency is usually around 200ms... Now, in Cloud Server, it's around 140ms, so I'd say it's a huge improvement! o/

I'm currently trying the cloud server and I can't tell if there's any differences it feels the same as the regular server

I cannot express how much better this game "feels" with a substantive difference in ping. It feels even better than it did prior to the Stormblood era server transition. Going from like 80-90 ping down to mid 50's is fantastic.
