Cloud Data Center Stress Test Feedback Thread (November 2023)

This thread is for providing feedback regarding the cloud server stress test taking place in November 2023.

We would appreciate if you could provide any feedback you may have while playing on the cloud data center. While we will be keeping an eye out for any issues reported during the test, reports regarding smooth server performance and play experiences would be helpful for our reference as well.

Please note that because the cloud data center is located on the east coast of North America, players connecting from different regions may experience latency. This latency occurs due to a player's distance from the data center, which also occurs on existing data centers.

i play from Brazil on the Primal behemot server with about 220ms, on this cloud NA east I can play with 140ms, this for me is wonderful, it's less than I used to play on wow

I've never seen this game so fluid, it feels like another game for me. The simple fact of talking to an NPC and being instant the answer, I only have 300hrs of gameplay so I still need to understand a lot how it works, but it seems really very very good to me right now

Edit: I live in the south of Brazil, that's why the ping is so high, people who play in the north have 140 by default in primal. Brazil is very big haha

Did anyone have the IPs for the cloud DC worlds? Wanted to try to let some friends test their ping. Also it's been smooth so far just the queues are bad when using the skips so far since so many people are trying!

I'm using Windows Resource Monitor and currently with only ffxiv_dx11 checked it says I'm 20-29ms. I'm Southern Ontario. So the same ping I had back when the servers were in Montreal.

This appears to be a lobby server (login queue) 35.203.99.71
This appears to an ip for Cloudtest01 34.95.11.28

Can ping lobby but not the game server, so no idea what ping or route is for the 2nd one.

So far, the only feedback I have is that every time you use a book you end back in the queue. Been 30 min in the queue after using a book and I'm at 1500 (started at 26543). So choose your books wisely.

Latency is awesome for us Brazilians, I'm getting 125ms on Cloud Server, i normally get 195ms on Primal. Game feels a lot better now, I hope you're able to keep a datacenter on the east coast for us

In the Chicago area.
Latency is half of what I would get on Crystal (60-80ms compared to 30ms as of right now). The login queue, while long, seems to be moving at a manageable pace to where it isn't a huge issue. I am sure that if this gets a full rollout, we will surely find out differently.
