Can someone give me a monk skill rotation?

I'm sure there are variations and adjustments depending on what you're doing, but can someone give me a good example to work off of? I usually play THM, but just recently hit 50 PUG and having a lot of fun playing it, and want to get decent enough to use it in endgame stuff.

I suggest pairing Keen Flurry with Dragon Kick. Here's my rationale:

MNK wants to stack BfB, Blindside and often Quelling Strike with Howling Fist.
BfB, Blindside, QF are all 60s recast.
    Howling Fist = 80s recast
==>Use HF, and you'll have to wait 60 seconds for buffs and an extra 20 seconds for HF.
Howling Fist + Keen Flurry = 40s recast.
==>Use HF, and you'll either 1.) use HF without buffs after 40 seconds; Keen Flurry will be ready in 50, HF will be ready in 80 or 2.) wait an extra 20 seconds for fully-buffed HF; Keen Flurry will be ready in 30, HF will be ready in 80.

The timers are out of whack and you are more likely to make a mistake. However,

    Keen Flurry recast = 90s
    Dragon Kick recast = 60s
    Dragon Kick + Keen Flurry = 30s
==>After 30s, use Dragon Kick again. Keen Flurry and Dragon Kick are now both at 60s recast.

Perfectly synchronized. Just use buffs on HF every 80s (20 "wasted" seconds), or use them on DK when the need arises (Chimera's tail comes to mind).

Do the same thing even when Fists of Wind is active. Howling Fist will be reduced to 60s and will synchronize with your buffs. You will have only "wasted" 10 seconds by the 3rd DK.

Um.. can you explain that a bit better? Like.. the exact order you do the skills.

I'll use Miser as an example of my rotation, since the battle is frenetic and I have little regard for my enmity.

Pounce>Demolish>BfB, Blindside, Quelling Strike (or Collusion, if WAR tank)>Howling Fist
    Pummel>Concussive Blow>Simian Thrash
Pounce>Sucker Punch>Keen Flurry (and Quelling Strike, if not used for HF)>Dragon Kick
    Pummel>Aura Pulse
Hundred Fists for the full 15s.
    Pounce>Sucker Punch>Dragon Kick
    Pummel>Aura Pulse
    Pounce>Demolish>Bfb, Blindside, Quell>Howling Fist
    Pummel>Concussive Blow>Simian Thrash

At this point, Miser is either dead or on the move. In general, I always match Keen Flurry with Dragon Kick unless I am fighting hordes (ants at Chimera, is one example) in which case I pair it with Aura Pulse.

This sounds really interesting gotta try it.
Another question are you fine with hate on that? aka using nerve potions or str potions?

Nemi, I think with a few more monks doing this, and all the stunlock from all the pounces the Miser would be a puddle in the ground.

Do you actually run monk through the entire dungeon?? Also should be rotating shoulder tackle in there, it gets a 300TPish return + extra dmg and on a 60s CD

Of course. Tackle at the start, and tackle again as soon as it's up.

I'll also add that I use Spinning Heel from the start until I am at 3000TP or the timer expires. Invigorate during Simian Thrash animation.

I have always gone MNK in AV from start to finish--then relics happened and I'm stuck going BLM! Unfortunately, 17m runs aren't MNK-friendly and all your timers are out of whack switching in the room before Miser. In the case of 17m (or any situation where you aren't MNK until the end) you'll want to use Invigorate instead of Spinning Heel at the start of the fight. In my experience, kicks are always on cooldown when engaging Miser.

Without Hundred Fists, you'll need BV+Paeon to maintain momentum. Ask your BRD to put it on early!

If I am colluded at the start and the WAR isn't locked down by paralysis, I am unlikely to take hate. I have -20 enmity geared, use no meds, and pop Chameleon after DK. That holds me over for the entire fight, assuming Miser dies before moving. The longer the fight runs, the more likely hate will shift to one of the MNKs.
